The Department of Cultural Heritage

The Department of Cultural Heritage initiates activities which serve disseminating national traditions. It supervises matters connected with places of national remembrance, tombs, military cementeries and holocaust monuments. Besides, the Department's role is to promote Polish museum collections in Poland and abroad. It is also responsible for promoting Polish literature all over the world, as well as promotion, protection and regaining Polish cultural heritage from abroad. The Department od Cultural Heritage helps also other Polonia and emigration institutions that lead scientific and cultural activity.
