Piotr Żuchowski was born on 4 May 1964 in Iława. He graduated from art history at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, as well as from postgraduate studies in organisation and management of education at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Olsztyn and in capital investment at the Poznan School of Banking.
The Secretary started his professional career as a teacher and Headmaster of the Primary School in Szymbark near Iława. In 1995, he became Director of the Team for Services Rendered to Local Government Schools in the Gmina of Iława. In 1998, Piotr Żuchowski was elected Member of Iława Council, then Member of Iława Poviat Board, and next Vice-Startoste of Iława Poviat. In July 2003, he took the position of Vice-Voivode of Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship. The Secretary is a Member of the Polish Peasant Party. He is interested in literature and history, and wrote a novel entitled Noc Azaela (Azael's Night). He has his father’s passion for hunting and dogs.
Family - wife Barbara, primary education teacher in Primary School No 3 in Iława, two sons: Tomasz, 24 years old, studies at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, and Filip, 22 years old, studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
